Founded in 2003, Fushimi Japanese Group has been an atelier for contemporary Japanese-fusion transformation, serving masterfully crafted Japanese dishes with innovative French tastes and techniques in a modern-meets-traditional style. Fushimi was first established in Staten Island and currently has five locations spread throughout Staten Island, Bay Ridge, Williamsburg, and our newest location, Manhattan.
Fushimi aims to produce visionary Japanese-fusion dishes, using the highest quality ingredients and state-of-the-art methods. Hand-picked, fresh ingredients from local farms are shipped weekly to each location and are artistically handled by our expert chefs. This place is a staple in Bay ridge and not only do they vary up the menu and make some of the best sushi rolls ever, but their filet mignon medallions during brunch are on point. If the Miso glazed cod is on the menu or the filet mignon is being offered as an appetizer. Grab them both.

Great spot to grab lunch and dinner with friends and family. The interior is upscale and perfect for events. The sushi is fresh and great quality - I’d definitely order from here again. The appetizers were also delicious and can feed large groups if you order a few. Highly recommend one of their fried rice options. Looking forward to my next visit!

Very nice place. All the food was good and the service was great. We had both sushi and food cooked from the kitchen. Would recommend both. Had the filet mignon and it was as good as a normal steakhouse.
